Mod post: 2019 bingo game - Round 1 voting results
We had eleven people voting in the first round! And the comments in that entry are now unscreened, so that everyone can see what all was voted for. And to also double check my tallying.

The top vote getters were:

Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Paranormal/Urban Fantasy/Supernatural - 8
Mystery/Crime/True Crime - 7
Audiobook/Ebook - 5
Number or Color in the Title - 5
Diverse Reads - 5

We then had 4 categories tied with four votes each. Those were:

Biography/Autobiography/Non-Fiction
Published This Year (2019)
Children's/YA Book
Fairy Tale/Fairy Tale Retellings

I used random.org to choose the final category for the first round. Here's the result:

So that means Childrens'/YA makes the cut.

The final list for the first round looks like this:

Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Paranormal/Urban Fantasy/Supernatural - 8
Mystery/Crime/True Crime - 7
Audiobook/Ebook - 5
Number or Color in the Title - 5
Diverse Reads - 5
Children's/YA Book - 4

These six books will make up the first six squares on the board.

Second round voting post will open shortly! Thanks to everyone who voted in the first round!

Mod post: 2019 bingo game - Round 2 voting now open. NOW CLOSED AS OF 12/3/18
Under the cut is a list of 45 out of 67 categories we've had suggested. (Please see this post for more information.) What we'd like you (and keli and I, too) to do is to vote for 10 of them you'd like to see on the final card. After a week or so, I'll tally the votes and the 6 categories that have the most votes will make it onto the card, the others will be placed back in the list for the next round of voting. I'd like for us to choose six categories per week for the next three weeks.

Comments will be screened until time to tally the votes.

Categories that passed the first round are struck through.
