How do I update the card? I'll list the books read under the categories, but not sure how to update the actual card.

Save the card to your computer, tablet, smartphone, etc. You can then use any photo editing software you have on your device (there's lots of free software or apps available), or there are also a lot of free online only photo editors you can use.

Then upload the card to the photo editor of you choice, and mark the square you've filled, by using some sort of graphic (several of us used the covers of the books we read for each square as markers), or by using a "X" or something as a marker.

Then save the edited card.

Would it be helpful if I made a step-by-step post about the way I mark my cards? I certainly don't mind doing that.
