I should read 37 books a year - it does ignore the 'I'll just read the next chapter - oops it's gone midnight' sort of book though ;)

Ok, that was cool. I think I'm going to end up posting my results in my own journal, too. I took screenshots.

Do you know how many minutes you read every day?

No, because I don't always read everyday. I have a hard time reading on work nights because I fall prey to the "just one more chapter" syndrome quite often. I can literally read for hours on end if left to my own devices.

I've been trying lately, though, because I'm trying to finish (or get close to finishing) a series of books before I have to cancel my KU subscription.

I calculated I read between 30 min to one hour a day. So it should mean an average of 45 minutes a day so I should be able to read 55 books a year!

I read only 26 last year but it can be explained because I can spend a few weeks without reading anything.

I only read about 20 minutes each night (except when, as above, I read for longer).

It looks like I'm right on track since I try to read 55 books a year. Though it's a little disheartening to see just how much more I could read if I add 10 minutes a day.

With minions interrupting I should be able to read almost 70 books a year.
This was fun!

To be fair, I could have answered the Alice questions from being able to quote the animated film. :D
If I read 20 min a day, I can read 42 books, which is about right. I usually say I can do 100 pages an hour when I'm good and settled in.

Thanks! :D It was my original default icon when I first joined LJ YEARS ago. I let my paid pack expire, so I'm down to my older ones.

YOU READ FASTER THAN 86% OF THE GREAT BRITISH PUBLIC. If I read for half an hour a day it would be 57 books. I read 26 books last year with an average of more than half an hour a day. A flattering result but somewhat off.
