Someone dropped off donations at the library and I was able to snag a copy of the Wrath of Khan.

As much as I love the original cast, I will be envisioning Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pine and Zachery Quinto as I read this one.

Not really sure they count as a tie-in but the Rizzoli & Isles books by Tess Gerritsen.

I would say those definitely count. I have a friend who never missed an episode of that show!

I loved that show and it's one of the few I didn't realize came from a book series. I binge read the books while the show was on hiatus. LOL

My grandmother's copy of Gone with the Wind with stills from the movie in it (she and the pictures are why I kept it, to be honest).

Yeah, I'm fond of it even though I don't like the book.

I thought the tie-in novel for Crimson Peak was really good.

I have bunch of tie-in novels, but that one I remember as being really good.

...I was not aware of this. Added to the wishlist.
The Shape of Water was the best book I read last year.

Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski was my TV tie-in. I'm currently slogging through 600 pages of Lovecraft for my movie square. And just slogged/skimmed the 700 pages of Fire & Blood. Which is exactly as described on the box.

It's not out yet but Artemis Fowl is being made into a movie!
They're changing the story up a bit, I'm imagining like they did to Ella Enchanted, but the pro of that is, that the actor for Butler matches what's been in my head more than the book. Lol So looking forward to watching this. <3

Recent one that comes to mind is the TV tie in of A Discovery of Witches. Yes I know the book was out first but they updated the cover with Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer.
