Mod post: Reminder... (Reporting is now CLOSED)
Today (december 31st) is the last day to report bingos. You have until 11:59 pm (US cst) to report. The drawing will happen sometime after that.

A few stats:

We have had 360 bingos reported so far, and 23 people have reported blackouts! Well, 24 including me, but I don't factor into the official tally. You can see the full list here.

I will be back later to post the 2020 Reading Challenge.

I got two more bingos in the past couple months:

Line Two
Children's or YA - What if it's Us by Becky Abertalli and Adam Silvera is a YA M/M meet cute that becomes a romance. The boys are not three dimensional and though I was glad they came together their relationship didn't pull me in or have me rooting very hard for them to be each other's OTP forever and ever the end. It was a quick, okay read but I wouldn't recommend it.
Biography/Autobiography/Nonfiction - Under the Big Black Sun: a personal history of L.A. Punk by John Doe with Tom DeSavia and Friends I enjoyed some "friends" writing more than others but this book captured the scene very well. I lived in San Francisco and Santa Cruz and saw these bands when they toured up the coast. It was a very exciting time in music.
Historical (fiction or nonfiction) - A Murder in Time by Julie McElwain is the story of a contemporary FBI agent who finds herself thrown back in time to a castle in 1815. When a murder occurs, she steps in to help unmask the murderer. This was easy to like and I'm going to read the second in the series to see what happens next.
Set in Your State/Country or Written by a Local Author - Two books in this category: Kansas City: A Place in Time is an architectural guide to Kansas City. Kansas City Noir is a collection of short stories set in my home town. I've read it before decided the collection deserved a re-read!
Title Starts with the First Letter of Your Name - Nimona by Noelle Stevenson is a delightful, twisty turny graphic novel. Shape-shifting protagonist Nimona apprentices herself to the "bad-guy, Lord Blackheart." This fairy tale land is not what it seems.

Line 5
Comic or Graphic Novel - Kid Gloves by Lucy Knisley. I love this author's artwork and her graphic novel memoirs are always engaging. This book is no exception.
A Book that is Part of a Series (4+ books) - Stone Circle by Elly Griffiths is Book 11 in the forensic archaeologist Ruth Galloway series. This one's quite thin on the archaeology and the plot feels like a rehash but I enjoy the entire cast of characters so it was still entertaining. This series really needs to be read in sequence as the relationships shift over the years. The setting in the English coastal region of Norfolk sounds breathtaking.
TV Tie-in/Made into a TV Show - Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman by Lindy West is an entertaining memoir. I'm just going to quote from the Publisher's Weekly blurb: "Shrill is an uproarious memoir, a feminist rallying cry in a world that thinks gender politics are tedious and that women, especially feminists, can't be funny. Coming of age in a culture that demands women be as small, quiet, and compliant as possible--like a porcelain dove that will also have sex with you--writer and humorist Lindy West quickly discovered that she was anything but. From a painfully shy childhood in which she tried, unsuccessfully, to hide her big body and even bigger opinions; to her public war with stand-up comedians over rape jokes; to her struggle to convince herself, and then the world, that fat people have value; to her accidental activism and never-ending battle royale with Internet trolls, Lindy narrates her life with a blend of humor and pathos that manages to make a trip to the abortion clinic funny and wring tears out of a story about diarrhea." The author is funny, fierce and driven. She's had the courage to stand up and be heard. I'd never seen or read anything she'd done before reading this memoir, but I'll seek her out from now on. This book has been adapted somehow for hulu so I think I might have to finally get a subscription.
Fairy Tale or Fairy Tale Retelling - The Princess and the Fangirl is a companion novel to Geekerella. It's a delightful fannish re-take of The prince and the Pauper.
Cookbook or Food Memoir - My Mother's Kitchen: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and the Meaning of Life by Peter Gethers is an entertaining, loving portrait of his mother, Janet Gethers who discovered a passion for cooking in her 50's.

How many do you have total? I don't see your name in the list of reported bingos, and I checked both the old an new reporting posts, and don't see where you've reported any there. If we overlooked anything, I apologize.

I will add these two to the list for now. :)

I got line 2 early on, but I also got two bingos for lines B and O as well as line 5 if that counts. Next year I need to learn how to X the card so I don't have to check and re-check my lists.

RE: Gah I forgot
No worries! I have down that you reported one back in June, so I'll add your name to the list 13 more times. (12 for the remaining bingoes, and the extra point for blacking out.)
