Looking forward to 2020

After looking back at the past year, it's time to set our new objectives for 2020!

So what are your plans?
Will you take part in the new challenge? In another challenge?
Will you take part in the Goodreads reading challenge? What goal did you want to reach?
Do you plan to discover new authors, new styles? Or will you keep going with loved authors or ongoing series?
What are the new books you're looking for in 2020?

I'm hoping to get out of my reading slump. I will be doing the popsugar challenge, literary destination and alphabet challenges too.

Along with Book Bingo, I've once again joined Mount To-Be-Read, and I'm hoping "Readers Imbibing Peril" will come around again during the Halloween season.

There are several authors I follow in fiction, but non-fiction is chosen by subject so there's usually a couple of new authors every year.

I've just made a detailed post about my objectives here : https://aeris444.livejournal.com/171992.html
So my goal is to read 40 books and I'll try to do this challenge and The 2020 Wizarding World Tour Reading Challenge, too!

I'm doing the Goodreads challenge and trying to reach 100 books (last year was 91), so I'll be doing the challenge here to work towards that.

I'm also going to attempt to buy fewer books until I've made a significant dent in my pile, though I'm not sure how easy that will be to stick to!

I'm doing the Goodreads challenge again - my target for 2020 is 130, as I massively exceeded the 50 I set last year! I am also going to try the challenge here, although some of the categories I probably won't meet unless by accident.
