Thanks for posting this!

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? I did. I set a goal of reading 50 books.
Did you achieve these goals? Yes! But only just. I read 51 books.
Did you manage to read more than expected? No. I thought I'd read more than 50 as I usually do. But, it didn't work out that way.
Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love? Not really. I pretty much stuck to the genres I usually read. I did read several new-to-me authors, and of those I read more books by Harlan Coben that the others.
Were you disappointed by some readings? Yes, there were maybe a handful of books I either really didn't like or liked less than I thought I would.

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? - I had a target of 12 books

Did you achieve these goals? - No, I only read 6

Did you manage to read more than expected? - Nowhere near!

Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love? - Not really. I did enjoy one book (A Midwinterwinter Promise by Lulu Taylor)

Were you disappointed by some readings? - Not really. I was more disappointed I didn't read more.

Share everything about your year in reading! - There's not much to share. My 'year in books' is here. Quite disappointing

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? My only goal was reading 48 books from my TBR pile.

Did you achieve these goals? I sure did.

Did you manage to read more than expected? Yes, I did. I actually read 54 book in 2020.

Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love? I fell in love with Adrian Tchaikovsky's writing. His Children of Time/Children of Ruin series is superb.

Were you disappointed by some readings? Of course. With so many book, it's bound to happen.

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? I did! I set myself a goal of 30 books (which was a lot for me, because I'd been strruggling to focus on books for a while.)
Did you achieve these goals? I did! I read 35, in fact!
Did you manage to read more than expected? Yup! I actually read 35, but I also read some books that I didn't finish so I'm carrying them onto 2021.
Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love? I've recently got into Terry Pratchett, which is exciting for me because it's been years since I was able to enjoy fantasy books.
Were you disappointed by some readings? I read one of Lorraine and Ed Warren's books and I was really let down by it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what it advertised? It was basically Ed and Lorraine reviewing other people's cases instead of their own?

Great job on reaching 35. By your page count they weren't short either!

I love Pratchett's writing. His discworld books always make me laugh.

Hubby is a huge Terry Pratchett reader. We are listening to some of the audio books at the moment.

I read a few books from Terry Pratchett years ago! They are true masterpieces!

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? Yes. I wanted to complete the bookbingo challenge
Did you achieve these goals? Yes
Did you manage to read more than expected? By quite a bit. I finished 90 books including comics, manga, and graphic novels.
Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love? Not that immediately comes to mind.
Were you disappointed by some readings? I generally read and finish about one out of three books I pick up. Any media has a very short window to engage me.
Share everything about your year in reading! At the beginning of the year I wasn't sure I would be able to complete the challenge and on a regular year I'm not sure I would have, but being forced to be home a lot of the time gave me more time to read. I feel like this year is more of an outlier than a typical year for me.

And I realise I didn't answer myself!

Did you set yourself some goals for 2020? Yes! Reading 40 books, doing the LJbookbingo challenge and doing the Flourish And Blotts Challenge
Did you achieve these goals? I read 37 books and filled a lot of catagories in both challenges so it's not a complete success but it's not that bad.
Did you manage to read more than expected? No
Have you discovered new books, genres, authors, series and fell in love?I think only about the "Magpie Lord" series. I've read the first book and immediately bought the other two but I haven't read it yet
Were you disappointed by some readings? Not enough to be worth mentionning
